Jordan’s educational path began at Welby Elementary, Elk Ridge Middle School, and Bingham and Riverton High School. This led him to Brigham Young University, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree cum laude in political science/philosophy. At BYU, Jordan distinguished himself not only in academics but as a natural leader, serving as president of the BYU Phi Beta Lambda business fraternity. His prowess in public speaking earned him the title of Utah PBL Public Speaking Champion three times, alongside achieving a notable fourth place nationally in 2007.

Continuing his education, Jordan graduated from the J. Reuben Clark Law School at BYU cum laude. During his time in law school, he was awarded the Department of Education FLAS Scholarship two years in a row, a testament to his academic diligence and international relations. Jordan’s contributions as an editorial assistant for two significant publications, “Islam, Europe, and Emerging Legal Issues” and “Islam and Political-Cultural Europe,” underscore his intellectual depth and commitment to understanding complex global issues. Competing in and winning various legal competitions, Jordan honed his skills in negotiation and advocacy and represented BYU at the National Moot Court and Trial Advocacy teams. Jordan served on the Moot Court Board of Advocacy Executive Board, Trial Advocacy Executive Board, and ICLRS Law and Religion Symposium Executive Board.

Beyond his academic and extracurricular successes, Jordan’s professional qualifications are equally impressive. Admitted to the Utah Bar, US District Court for the District of Utah, and the United States Supreme Court Bar, his legal acumen and dedication to justice are well recognized. These milestones, achieved through hard work and a sincere dedication to his field, highlight Jordan’s readiness to serve and contribute to his community with humility and integrity.

After earning his law degree, Jordan embarked on his legal career at the Leavitt Firm, P.C., where he adeptly handled the complexities of civil litigation and criminal defense. His broad legal acumen and commitment to his clients quickly established him as a versatile advocate.

In 2014, Jordan transitioned to a pivotal role with The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, focusing on negotiating and executing complex technology contracts. His expertise and leadership abilities led to a promotion in 2019, where he began overseeing the team responsible for negotiations, vendor relationships, and contracts for the Church’s meetinghouse facilities in the United States and Canada—a role he continues in today.

Jordan’s journey with the Republican Party began early, stepping into the role of State delegate at just 17 years old. This early start marked the beginning of a deep and enduring commitment to Republican values and service. Over the years, he has consistently served as both a state and county delegate, currently holding positions in both capacities. His involvement extended into his college years at BYU, where he was an active member of the BYU Republican Party Club and served as a legislative intern to the Majority Leader of the Utah House of Representatives.

Jordan’s political engagement has seen him play significant roles in various campaigns, contributing to the success of two congressional races and numerous state races. His dedication and expertise have been recognized with his election to key positions within the GOP structure. He serves on the GOP State Central Committee and has been elected as chair of the State GOP Constitution and Bylaws Committee, as well as to the county GOP Bylaws Committee. Jordan’s knowledge and leadership are often called upon, with frequent requests for him to act as a parliamentarian at GOP County Central Committee meetings and the GOP County Convention.

Through these roles and contributions, Jordan has demonstrated not just a commitment to the Republican Party, but a genuine dedication to fostering its principles and ensuring its organizational integrity and success.

Jordan comes from a vibrant family, being the eldest of eight siblings. Together with his wife, Aliona, they are raising three energetic children who are deeply involved in soccer, basketball, and gymnastics. The family has made their home in South Jordan, after previously living in Herriman and Provo.

The Teuscher family cherishes their time together, whether it’s exploring new destinations, tending to their yard, or cheering from the stands at local sporting events. Their shared love for adventure, nature, and sports speaks to a family life full of activity, learning, and laughter.
